I never know from week to week what I will be shooting. It makes life fun and I love the challenge of taking pictures to illustrate articles. This shoot was a step by step on how to make butter. I found the challenge to be how to make the shoot colorful. Luckily my friend had a great red mixer and I hauled along my blue graniteware and old blue bowls. I think it made a feast for the eyes! It certainly helped that she has a beautiful kitchen!

great photos Jean -- lucky you getting to take photos for magazines without having to write the article (I'm not at all keen on freelance writing anymore so I'm not getting to take photos to cover my stories). This is one of the things I love about taking photos of a wide range of subjects -- it makes it so interesting! Well done.
