Today at Shutter Sisters you are asked to do a self potrait.
The challenge for me was that it is 25 degrees and cold.
I also find after 50, you really dont llook that good looking directly down at the camera, hence my picture!

I love how the tree streaks it's way down to you (almost like lightening).
I looked up as well (and I'm under 40). I think the only ones who look good are twenty and a size 2 (hee hee.)
i really want to do that challenge but my first thought, too, was the fear of that angle. hahaha i turned 50 today.
I like your photos and your looking up one works just fine.
I'm going to get dressed and give it a go ... it's minus 22 (yes MINUS) right now. I'll bundle up and take one of my double chin and one of my boots buried in the snow. Love the one of your feet Jean!
