Azaleas, Tree Peonies and more!

Last weekend it was 94 here in Virginia, today it is 55.
It was amazing to see how quickly the leaves and flowers came out when it got that hot for three days. My lilacs opened overnight and might last a little longer now it has cooled off.

The Color of Succulents!

Succulents have some incredible colors, and they are great drought tolerant plants. You might want to try some succulents this summer!

Painting with Light

I read about this somewhere and tried it this weekend. Set your camera on a tripod, start with 30 second exposure and 5.6 fstop. Then walk into the picture and use a flashlight to paint what you want to show up.
Keep moving or you will show up like the first pic
