The wine is chilling, the fire started, now we just need to add the friends!

While waiting for the action to begin, I couldnt resist the glasses on the old hammered aluminum tray that was my mothers.

From Rats to Rabbits!

The beauty of freelance is never knowing what subject I might shoot next! One day rats, yesterday a rabbit.

This is Anjelka, and she was the perfect model, once she decided we weren't going away till we got the pictures!

The call was for pictures of a bunny with her toys and Anjelka had plenty!

Green Roof Gardening!

James Madison University has a green roof . I enjoyed reading the sign of how a green roof is installed.

Here are the plants, mostly succulents since they are drought tolerant.

The finished product is quite lovely, and makes a great addition to the outdoor dining area.

Escapees!

Luckily, these pet rats enjoy food! Once out of their cage they decided they wanted to hide instead of getting their picture taken.

The crinkling of the treat bag brought them out to investigate

Still wanting to hide, it took more treats to lure them out .

This time, the treats worked and they were ready to get to work!

Pretty in Green!

Hemp collars stand up to time . Since hemp is an easy to grow crop , the collars are very green.
