For the last couple of years, I kept seeing this structure along 211 in Virginia. I was always suprised to see it and this time I was ready for it
Last time I spotted it , I tried to put in my memory bank where exactly it was.
Yesterday I was prepared. I had no traffic and luckily there was a drive right next to it so I could pull off safely.
I am assuming it is an old silo tho I have never seen a stone one.

Maybe it is a watch tower, or all that is left of a castle.
