In the fall, you just except to see colorful leaves, but if you look deeper into the woods, beyond the yellow leaves, you just might spot witchhazel. This wonderful small tree blooms in late fall into winter. Now there are cultivars of witchhazel for planting in your landscape.
I find it refreshing to photograph something I am not hired to do and find I have to force myself to take time to work on things that don't pay .
